Funny the article title does not reflect the intent of the article. Time and again the reference to the wife of Jesus is not made as fact, rather the position of the researcher is that this is more likely to mean the church … It could in my personal humble estimation be a fragment relating of his second coming ??? where he (AS) will get married …

They say Jesus started his ministry in his thirties which would make him quite old compared to expectancy of life in those days. His Jewish parents would have married him off by then as was the custom. So what if JC was married, what is the big deal?
Almost all other prophets of the major religions were married and had children, most of the Abrahmic prophets were. The prophet Mohammed married many times, Krishna was married, so was Rama. Of the ten Sikh Gurus nine were married only the eighth http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Guru_Har_Krishan was not nor was Lord Buddha.

On a side note many say the reason why JC started his missonary work so late was because he travelled to India and engaged with religious leaders. He went to Hindu centres like varanasi and met the Brahmins there but did not agree with their caste sytem. He then visited Kashmir and discussed religion and spirituality with the Buddhist monks who he held in great regard. Jesus then went back to the Holy land to start his new religion where he was eventually crucified and was raised from his dead and travelled back to Kashmir to live out his years. At his “death” he was buried which was unusual for the Buddhisst who cremated their dead, for that reason the presense of this holy man from the West stood out but eventually the location of his tomb was lost with time.

The title caught my attention, so just wondered, Is it okay to refer to him as a 'GUY'..?

Can we say "Muhammad was a good guy".Sounds awkward. Man seems more suitable. Or maybe its just me. Oh well...I'll leave now.

So Jesus was a married person and had women disciple. So why are women barred from becoming Pope etc. Also there is no need for priests and nuns to be celibate and remain unmarried.
It is also said Jesus did die from crucification, but lived much longer . He travelled to India for a brief period.

Why should people cares if he was married or not ? People are better off learning from his teachings and behaviour. The issue of his marital status should be trivial. Also Jesus had women disciples.
