Re: jesuit colleges / catholic schools

I will give you a comparative analysis about here in Pakistan. We have this Lasalle Higher Secondary School here is Mutlan. Its a missionary school basically. The principal/ head is called "Brother". He wears a rob, he is Srilankan basically, he is single, and he is sent on a mission to spread education and this is why he has been appointed here. Actually many people with alnost the same background and particulars preceeded him since the school was established back in 1960. Around half of their teaching staff is Christian and half is Muslim. So is the case with the students. I once had a chance to teach O/ A Levels there, for about a year. Its a Boys school so I used to wear scarf and gown since I couldnt feel quite comfortable otherwise. And let me tell you honestly. The management, the administration was so fair, so equally treating and philanthropist, you wont imagine. Comparing it to the atmosphere in other Private schools, I would call it a haven. Non Muslims and especially those with missionary zeal, are much better than us, ethics wise.

Re: jesuit colleges / catholic schools

mirage, you have taught there so you would know first hand as you shared.
can you shed some light, as to how are across school collaborations between jesuit and non jesuit schools?
