Still excusing the fact that based on the lies that were told about the Iraq war, the US killed 6000 civilians?

Malik, you for one who believes inaction is the best option, no matter what, I'm not. I supported going to war against Saddam for many reasons and I'm glad the U.S. did so. You have politicalized the death of Iraqis for your own selfish reasons which I find horrid, you should be ashamed of yourself.

No I have stated the facts, even if that makes you bitter. If anyone can be accused of using the suffering of the Iraqi people for their own purposes it is the United States, and gladly most of the world agrees. The Jessica Lynch story is just one blatant example of a war built on absolute lies, which cost the lives of 6000 plus Iraqi civilians, and where American liars are hailed as hero's, as surely American killers will be?

Malik you continue to ignore the fact of what Saddam did, if that makes you sleep better at night so be it.

As this thread has shown you and other American's can't even face up to the lies told over the Jessica Lynch story, so how can you face upto the other big lies told over this whole war? In fact as we see in America today liars are welcomed home as hero's as surely killers will, as well? Quite revealing...

yawn Malik, your really losing it, your taking quite an issue with this Jessica Lynch bit. You’re the one who brought it up yesterday, no one else cares, the people in her hometown care that she is home, that's all. You can certainly do better than this.
Exactly. American's don't care anyome however much lies their government and military tell them, even when it leads to thousands of civilians being killed in a war built on such naked lies.

Thanks for opening my eyes to the truth Malik.

When you start facing upto the lies told about this war, of which the Jessica Lynch story being a small example, then you will see the truth. Until then American's can carry on celebrating liars as hero's, and then killers of Iraqi people I presume?
The U.S. Army on Tuesday revealed that all records and documents about the weapons that jammed during the March 23 ambush that led to the death of nine Fort Bliss soldiers were destroyed in the Iraqi attack and that there is no way to trace the weapons’ histories.
The Army, responding to an El Paso Times request under the Freedom of Information Act, said any official information about the weapons used by Fort Bliss’ 507th Maintenance Company was lost on a supply truck taken into combat.
An official report on the ambush near Nasiriyah said that several weapons, including M-16s, M249 Squad Automatic Weapons and a .50-caliber machine gun, jammed or failed to operate properly during the firefight.

Idiots on both sides of this one.. To the families: Yes, your relative was a slackass and didn’t properly maintain his/her weapon (excepting 2, I believe). One had his on the dash covered in candy wrappers!! And, yes, the records do go with the troops. Army: There are ways of tracing the weapons, but nice try. On the ones that didn’t go missing you can find a little number. Take that and go through supply records. True, you won’t find the most up to date info, but it is there.
