South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley said that “We’ve never in the history of this country passed any laws or done anything based on race or religion.” C’mon Nikki. You’re from SOUTH CAROLINA. Our entire state is an outdoor slavery museum. Did you forget about the “removal” of Native Americans? Jim Crow? The Chinese Exclusion Act? Internment camps? For God’s sake you’re an Indian-American. Your own MARRIAGE would have been illegal 100 years ago. The only possible explanation is that Nikki Haley and the rest of the GOP are from an amazing alternate universe where oppression and racism never happened. If that’s the case, I’d love to volunteer to take your place in that alternate dimension. Because you sure aren’t living in ours.
Havent gone through Jeremy’s comedy much except I know he is a liberal art lover so few posts here n there but will check it out.
Right now watching “I am Chris Farley” on Spike channel. Beautiful documentary. Chris (SNL,Tommy boy, black sheep etc.famed) was like my fav comedian growing up. Went too soon. I sooo miss him..
