Jelly Flavours ..

There are so many flavours in Jelly … Which one is your favourite?
Do you mix two kinds of jelly to make a third flavour?

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

my favourite is strawberry & banana :yummy:

I have never tried mixing them but that sounds like a good idea for the weekend

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

I think by mixing them you would get something like a cocktail :hmmm: .. I have done it in the past … its brilliant ..

also what you can do is that set a little of 3 different flavoured jellies separately .. when they are set , cut them in tiny cubes and mix the cubes together ! That is an awesome taste , I tell you !

I personally like the cherry flavouring to go on top of desserts … but when eating separately I love the green wali jelly .. mainly for its color :@:

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

green is I believe banana and I like it too.. but I like cherry and pineapple for desserts!!

so which ones have you mixed and they turned out great?

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

I make my own jelly using vegetarian gelatin sheets and whatever flavour liquid takes my fancy. Sparkling mango juice made into jelly is a favourite in my family.

Try substituting water for milk if you’re making jelly from a packet or cubes, you get a very nice blamange type dessert.

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

wait by jelly do you mean Jello (gelatin cubes)? Cz here jelly is the stuff in jars.. jams or spreads..

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

GTG , mix orange and lemon flavoured jellies … Not in one bartan … but set them seperately and then cut them into cubes … Pineapple , lime and orange jelly makes a fabulous combination as well … I love banana and mango jelly mix as well …

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

Sara , you know in pakistan you get those Ahmed ki jelly packs .. its in powder form when you buy it , then mix it in boiled water and let it set …

We get them from desi shops here in England … coz most of the jelly packs in the regular stores is not halal …

Britchick , where do you get the vegetable gelatin sheets from ?

Re: Jelly Flavours ..

^ Either online, or at a health food store (not Holland & Barrett, but yours might have some. Mine doesn’t)
