jehez shopping experiences?

Re: jehez shopping experiences?

I did my jehez shopping in 2 weeks and i got way more than i had planned or expected to buy. suits wise i think u really need to find a boutique whose disigns and fabrics u really like (that was my biggest challenge finding a decent boutique as i am extremely picky). I bought like 15 really heavy boutique suits from the same boutique as i bought my wedding dress the prices of each suit came out to be extremely reasonable since i was buying so many of them and the rest as i was shopping for normal things i would see fabric or colors of unstitched fabrics and would end up buying it and giving it to the tailor or i would buy the fabric find a kaam wala who would just do kaam on the unstitched fabric and then i would give it to the tailor to stitch, funny thing i had so much unstitched fabric we had to hire 4 different tailors to get everything done within 2 weeks all i rememebr is it being chaos bc we had to so much fabric but so lil time!! now that i look back at it was an awesome experience even though it was just plain ol crazy drama for 2 straight weeks.

Overall, based on my experience i had a different view of doing things in my mind before i got to Pakistan but once i got there everything i had thought of went out the window bc the way things are sold there is completley different and i had no clue due to the fact that i had gone after 10 1/2 yrs my only prob was finding a mehndi day suit im not too fond of gota so i went crazy looking for a mehndi day suit and found it from a boutique 2 days befor my flight and got it sewn overnight!!
