Jeffery Scrotum Bag Barnes

and you wondered what myvoices real name was.

**CHICAGO Aug 17, 2005 **— LaChania Govan said she got bounced around by her cable company when she called to complain. She made dozens of calls and was even transferred to a person who spoke Spanish a language she doesn’t understand.
But when she got her August bill from Comcast she had no trouble understanding she’d made somebody mad. It was addressed to “Bitch Dog.”

“I was like you got to be freaking kidding me,” said Govan, 25. “I was so mad I couldn’t even cuss.”

Govan said the only thing she did to Comcast employees that might be considered rude came after a few dozen calls when she felt she was treated shabbily. “I did tell them, ‘You know what, it has to be a qualification to work for your company that you have to be rude,’” she said.
Govan said she talked to a supervisor and he offered her two months free service, which she turned down.

Finally Wednesday, about two weeks after she got her bill, somebody from the company left a message on her answering machine in which the caller apologized.

Comcast officials said it shouldn’t have happened.

“We only use the actual customers names on the bill,” said Patricia Andrews-Keenan, a Comcast spokeswoman.

Company officials went through the records and identified two people who were involved with the name change and fired them, Andrews-Keenan said. It’s unknown why the employees did it.

In another case, Peoples Energy customer Jefferoy Barnes started getting letters addressed to “Jeffery Scrotum Bag Barnes.”

“I had no bad words at all. I guess the earliest letter is dated in May and from then on up until now my name has been listed as Jeffery Scrotum Bag Barnes and I have no idea why.”

Barnes said he received an apologetic call from a company official. He also has contacted an attorney to determine if he can take legal action.

A Peoples Energy spokeswoman called the letter inexcusable.

LOCH ARBOUR, N.J. – The bill was a shocker, and not because of the amount.

After eating at a Jersey shore restaurant, Elliott Stein and his girlfriend were handed a bill that said ‘‘Jew Couple’’ near the bottom, as a table identifier used by the waitstaff. The description also turned up on Stein’s credit card statement weeks later.

The server, identified on the check only as Karina, is no longer working at the restaurant, general manager Malia Wells said Wednesday.
Stephen Reid, a spokesman for the restaurant, said it had been the waitstaff’s practice to use descriptions of diners to identify them on checks.

I dont see how this is such a big deal. Some people are really too touchy. If this was a British couple and was handed a bill that said “Brit Couple,” i dont think they would have cared as much.

Re: Jeffery Scrotum Bag Barnes

a new one haha, Mr. Palestinian Bomber.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 22, 2005 — Officials at JP Morgan Chase have apologized and promised to improve their screening policies, after a credit card solicitation letter sent to a 54-year-old naturalized American citizen came addressed to “Palestinian Bomber.”

The form letter for a Visa Platinum card arrived earlier this month at the home of Sami Habbas, a grocery store manager from Corona, Calif. The words “Palestinian Bomber” appear above his address and the salutation reads, “Dear Palestinian Bomber.” The document included the signature of Carter Franke, chief marketing officer for Chase Card Services.

Habbas is a naturalized U.S. citizen of Palestinian heritage. He told ABC News he is “extremely upset” at receiving the letter, pointing out that he has lived in the United States for 51 years and also served in the U.S. Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1969.

“It’s upsetting, derogatory and slanderous,” Habbas told ABC News. “I have no idea how this sort of thing happened.”

Habbas was even more shocked when, on several occasions, he said he called an 800-number for JP Morgan Chase and spoke to operators in an effort to complain. Each time, he says the operators called up his information on a computer but apparently didn’t catch on. According to Habbas, "The operators always said, ‘Yes, Mr. Palestinian Bomber, how can we help you?’ "

After receiving the letter and his experiences with the operators, Habbas contacted the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Washington, D.C., a Muslim civil liberties group. CAIR denounced the Chase letter as “racist” and asked JP Morgan Chase to launch an investigation, conduct sensitivity training and issue a formal apology to Habbas.

In a statement, Chase vice president Kelly Presta blamed the incident on information in a list purchased from a third-party vendor. The company said it was taking steps to improve the screening procedures and offered “sincere apologies” to anyone offended by the letter.

“Although no Chase employee was involved in creating this information, we are embarrassed by this incident and regret that our automatic screening procedures did not catch this erroneous information,” said Presta, executive vice president of Chase Card Services.

It is unclear if the person responsible for the letter knew Habbas was of Palestinian descent or simply guessed. A CAIR official said Habbas is a fairly common Arab name.

The incident comes on the heels of last week’s announcement by Comcast that two customer service representatives in Chicago were fired after they changed a woman’s name to “Bitch Dog” on her bill. She had repeatedly complained about bad service.
