Let me tell you a wonderful business opportunity.

Start a website. Make it great. Give people an opportunity to be addicted to the website and rely on it for all their needs.

Then, make it slow. Make it even more slow. Infact, make it so slow that people start pulling their hair when the website doesn’t open for five minutes eevry time.

And then… comes the masterstroke.

Make an announcement, that if you want “guaranteed faster access” then cough up a cool monthly payment to the website!

LOL!!!! btw...what's the monthly/yearly fee for it? I skimmed through the 'GURANTEED FASTER ACCESS' page, but couldn't find the amount they're charging. (Not like I'd ever pay to get faster access, but still...)

But once I see they are slow I switch to www.khel.com or www.timesofindia.com.
But its just a compromise.No website is as good as cricinfo.com

Its $12 per year. And for what its worth, I'd probably get it. In the absence of live television and no dish, I'm kinda addicted to cricket.org

lol, at the beginning I didnt have any clue what you were talking about but later today I checked the site ..this is ridiculous..
I think I can survive "without the BENEFIT of Cricket plus" and continue with the free website, yes during the matches it gets very slow but there are other sites where you can keep yourself updated !
Considering they started to charge then it wont be a bad idea for cricket.org to video broadcast the games by getting the rights or something..

Live broadcasts would be a good idea, but I’d rather pay more and watch it on tv than on the net. Anyone willing to pay $12 for me?

Im just waiting for everyone to pay $12 and start clogging the ‘dedicated’ servers. Once that happens, of course, the regular servers will be back in action
