I’m not a big Ali Zafar fan, but the Ghalib album was an awesome idea. We need more stuff like that.

Nice song. though i like film version much better but this song has it own touch. ali and ayesha both are looking good.

no i am not saying that. i was referring to the music composition. the way both are sung.
film ke aur is ke lyrics same nahin?..anyhow.

nahiiN baba...even the first word is different...the matl'a [first couplet] is almost same. Ghalib wrote:
jee DhoonDhtaa hai phir vohii fursat, *k* raat din
baiThe raheN tasavvur-e-jaanaaN kiye huye
note the punctuation! it's important...it's the key to understanding the she'r. now, look at Gulzar's words and see the difference in meaning:
*dil DhoonDhtaa hai phir vohii fursat *ke**** raat din
baiThe raheN tasavvur-e-jaanaaN kiye huye****
did you get the difference in meaning of the two ash'aar?**
