Salam parents,
Just noticing something with Jr. these days. Everytime hubby and I hug, or stand or sit next to each other Jr. starts screaming and starts pushing me away.
We are inshAllah expecting our second in a couple of months and this behavior is worrying both of us, will he be jealous of the new baby. Any tips or advice on how we can overcome this.
Also I have noticed he screams and cries like I have abandoned him when we go out to a restaurant and I go to the bathroom. Same thing when I have to take a shower, I can now only take showers when hubby is home. so pls help.

separation anxiety!! it peaks around 12-18 months from what i’ve read, and its a bit of jealousy too.

thts very common among babies my mum used 2 told me tht when i was born my bro was 4 years bit sensible but still was not ready 2 accept me :( so wht they used 2 do they bought toys for him n would say tht baby bought this 4 u n whatever he used 2 like mum pa showed him tht this is bc of the baby tht he is getting this so he eventually start liking me bc i was giving gifts 2 him lolz :)

Our 13 months old is showing very similar signs, as soon as I get close to hubby he acts really jealous and wants his dad to pick him up. It's amazing how he chooses dad over me. :o
