although i must share that there’s more to Pakistan than just Lahore, we’re bigger than France and Germany combined, so I suggest Indian tourists and journalists to travel to other places in Pakistan other than Lahore.
plus why do we let in only well-connected Indians? We should also allow “regular” Indians to see our sights and visit different cities..and vice versa. Indians shd do the same. from my own personal experience, it is so hard to get an indian visa. I was supposed to be in Mumbai next week for some meetings and as expected, indian consulate did not even issue the business visa on time with so many excuses.
so positive news posted only when indians say any positive thing about our country?
we need to come out of this validation syndrome. its like always looking outside and others to tell us our country is good or not. like we can’t even appreciate ourselves. make me sad.

Absolutely true. I went to Lahore a couple years ago after a gap of about 12 years for my cousins wedding and I had such a great time. Met a few celebrities/politicians at a couple house parties which was awesome.
