“JayRee Bhayd Moi, PhaToo dey NaN”. This is a Punjabi Proverb and here is a loose translation:
“Blame Phathoo for any sheep that dies”, meaning, pass all the blame on to Phathoo (a nick for someone who looks innocent).
Have you ever noticed that how some people pass the blame on to some other people for no reason and for every reason. Is it a Punjabi thing, or is it common in other parts of the world also. I would very much like to know the similar proverbs used in other Cultures of India and Pakistan, and other countries.
