We must give credit to jayalas for sticking to their party but they really need to decide if Zardari is taking Bhutto's ideology forward? I grew up supporting Sharifs for no other reason except my uncles supported them.
I learnt about Bhutto's abilities and started to appreciate him as a PAKISTANI. I would have supported PPP even if Benazir was alive because she would have been better for PAKISTAN. Now that a total crook has taken over PPP, i would NEVER support such a party but problem with JAYALS is that they put party before their country just because they feel it's their duty to remain loyal to the party despite the fact that we have most incompetent bunch of people running the country in our history.
So if Bhutto was a GREAT leader because of his services to Pakistan, how can people support Zardari who is going against Bhutto's ideology?
I do support Imran now because it is absolutely clear to me that he is the best hope for Pakistan, it doesn't matter if he wins or not but fact is that he is the most sincere and honest leader we have and MAJORITY of people oppose him NOT because he is a bad leader but because of their loyalty to their party.
Just a general comment - it is logical to disagree with vision and policies of IK if one chooses to. It is not necessary IK has to have been in power to be criticized for his vision. If that were the case challengers to the presidency can never be criticized!
Same applies to Romney for example. Several choose to criticize his ( lack of) vision and stated policies.

ABSOLUTELY logical to criticise his policies, if you follow Pakistan media closely though they hardly discuss his policies. I can give you countless of examples where his name is dragged as if he has been responsible for all the mess. I will be more than happy if there is a live debate between Imran, N Sharif & Zardari to dicuss their POLICIES so it's not about criticism about his policies but rather the EXTREMELY biased reporting.

I swear that till recent years, they were against Zardari and thought that current PPP is a fake party and has nothing to do with the PPP of BB and ZAB. I can almost dig out anti-zardari comments of some of the GS-jayalaas, from old threads. It seems that its quite common for PPP followers to switch their loyalties.

PPP is true democratic party of Pakistan whether you like it or not, it is a fact. If anything done bad by the leader, supporters will say it "dhankay ki chot par". This phenomenon does not exist any other party including MQM whom you support or your sympathies. Very rarely supporters or representative from PPP change their loyalties. The ones who have changed their loyalties had become history or become people like Sheeda Talli.
