Why people like Jawaid Jabbar don’t secceed in Pakistani politics. HE is quite a reasonable man, got succeded in CSS exams and have writted books about Pakistan (must know a lot about Pakistan), havee been the information minister.
But I think did stupidity in last elections by standing against MQM in FB Area Karachi.

Generally a good man...it was not like he would have won if he'd contested from any other seat in karachi. His plus points are his role in liberalizing the media and his few other ministerial roles ..he did some adminstrative good simply because he was not corrupt. Another plus point is his role in the recent letter to Musharraf and other political party leaders.
Still to be a grass roots politician is different from being a technocratic one..the only way Jabbar could get aceess to power is on the coattails of more powerful people.
