Jawad Ahmed has joined social service, quite like his fellow singers, Abrar and Shehzad Roy. Recently, he was in Peshawar, capaigning with the polio drop teams, going from door to door.
PTV’s recent three-hour live transmission, which lasted from twelve in the noon to three in the afternoon, was also a part of the same, when Jawad asnwered different callers. A documentary programme, especially prepared for the occasion, was also telecast in which Jawad was shown giving information to the childern about polio.
The director for Health Islamabad, Dr. Saeed thanked Jawad and said that they were surprised to see the latter’s intereaction with the children and their love for him.
here I just wanna add that Jawas said before he joined this the team conducted a door to door survey of which celebrity the children like the most and would like to see working for the social cause and Jawad was the winner.
