Jaw ache and headaches

I usually have headaches accompanied by jaw aches ,specially the sides ,and painkillers don’t work too well for the jaw aches.Has anyone experienced this ? What could be the reason for this ?

No Inzi I dont have any aches in my teeth.Its just the jaw.

sinus is cavity above soft bone of nose....

do you have problem inhaling air?

No , I havent been to a doc for the last 13 yrs.

pain killers have very adverse effect on kidneys…

Well LP, you need to get to the Doc to find out the cause and a cure if there is one. For example, if your jaw or “bite” is misaligned, there is treatment to try to fix that.

My headaches are accompanied by my jaw aches usually.But it does go away and come bk again.

might be referred pain from an infected tooth
do you Grind your teeth while sleeping?(brauxism)
Jaw joint (tmj) problem perhaps..

should visit a dentist:)

I had this issue. Dentist said it was the result of grinding my teeth in my sleep. I had a gum shield moulded to fit my bottom teeth and would wear it to sleep for a few nights every week. I stopped using it after two months and have never had a problem since.
