where in my post i said he should be threatened and harassed out of the country??? chacha, we all know we have people even worse than this man living in our country, and i dont want anyone to harass them, my comment is only about what i believe this guy tried to or still tries to do, and that he was supported and promoted by a specific class in our country these days known as followers of “enlightened-moderation” and many people fell prey of this distorted version, just like many fell for alrehman-alraheem organization (run by some tv actors), and just like many fell for ghulam ahmed parvaiz. anyone will agree to the corruption of beliefs of the above two as long s/he is not one of their followers, but, ghamdi is comparatively new, and many people still dont know whats wrong with what he preaches, and this time around its the TV which is propagating this which has much more effect than the other two i mentioned.
so before you start believing that i’m advocating to harass him (or anyone like him or anyone of any sect) out of the country, think again, and dont start judging right away
People who make such ill informed sweeping statements about Ghamidi Sb (or anyone for that matter), have obviously not heard a single thing he's said. Maybe it's for such people that the Quran says "Sumum Bukmun....."

Lets see. We have a thread on Ghamadi leaving Pakistan because he was harassed. You come in here and start off on why ghamadi is so wrong and you are so right. How does that fit in this thread if not as a rationalization for the threats against him? Your problem, just like so many in pakistan, is that you guys think you are right and that everyone else should take it as God's commandment that you are right.
If you disagree with ghamadi, as I do on certain issues, then show that he is wrong. Problem is that you say he is wrong and expect us to just believe it. Everytime that I have seen ghamadi talk about this blasphemy issue, he has backed up what he says from the Qura'an, the sunnah and the fiqh. However, those arguing against him went after ghamadi personally instead of showing how this or that ayat or hadith supports their point of view.

and as for this quoted part, go run a search yourself in this forum and on internet and you will find how many times "others" have refuted him with Quraan and Sunnah, and not "personally" as you put it.

He did that and that's exactly why he had to flee the country.
Fatwa had been issued to remove him from face of earth and even his neighbours were recieving threats.
When you can get killed for proving your point then how can you try to do that???
It is very unfortunate that a Muslim scholar Javed Ghamidi has to leave Pakistan due to ‘wahshat (terror)’ of devil incarnates roaming around in Pakistan abusing people in the name of Prophet (SAW).

then the word used for such people is a coward, not scholar, who cannot state the truth because they fear being killed... anyway, enough said about ghamdi earlier in other threads... no more waste of time on him
^ If someone's life is under threat, they have every right to move from that country. Especially if they are being persecuted for their beliefs. Its called "Hijrat". The Prophet SAW did it too.
He is not a coward for leaving Pakistan. He's living in a Muslim country and doing what he cant do in Pakistan.
