Okinawa’s governor demanded U.S. forces leave the southern island, as residents marked the 58th anniversary Monday of the final land battle of World War II between U.S. and Japanese forces.
Japanese demand is intesifying, now the Governor is doing so. Lets see what the PM decides, relocate or ask US to leave the Island altogether.
How many bases does US have in Japan? How does it effect NK conflict?
No, actually the Japanese have been asking the Americans to leave for the past 50 years.. problem is, which japanese are you talking about? Those have been minor groups on the level of the ACLU, et al. That is, small, nongovernmental, not-so-influential groups of people have been asking (and the number is small as a respresentation of the overall population). That said, there are certain circles in the US that would like us to pull out of Japan.. I don't know about that though. Just need to cull the idiots already there and leave the quality.
Y'know.. every time I'm in Philly, there is this guy on South St that asks me for "lil white bunnies"... whatever that means.
