i know of ONLY one guy who is like this Japanese guy:
the CEO, founder and the majority share holder of India's Jet Airways of India, Mr. Naresh Goyal.
he was the only child of a lower middle class family. his father died suddenly and he didn't have a job. he was the oldest son. his mother had an equivalent of $1000 US and she gave it to her son to start a business so they could have some income.
he started with Holding Business...then moved to a travel agency then to Air India in a managerial position where he learned all tricks of trades then he managed to lease JUST one old aircraft and started an airline with service between Bombay and Delhi.
slowly and steadily he increased his operation and then made it public selling shares in the airline...as a result he acquired more aircraft and started service domestically...in ten years he expanded his operation to the whole world.
now his airline is more successful than the state owned Air India. he is a down-to-earth man. he is a family man and nothing of sorts that a successful CEO would be like.
i LOVE this guy! my role model!
