I am sort of new to this forum and now addicted to it since past few days. I am getting married in January 2013 (4,5,6,8). My Mehndi/Sangeet and Barat will be in Jhelum and Guy’s Mehndi/Sangeet (which by the way I am invited too as well) will be in Islamabad. I am looking for a good MUA. I am from Canada and will be arriving for my wedding in Pakistan by November and I want to sort this out before I get there. I am looking for someone who can travel to Jhelum.
Your help will be very much appreciated as well as the pictures will be helpful too. Good luck everyone
hey welcome :D.. i am also jan bride (12 and 14) :).. but i am karachi based.. so cant help u much :(.. take some idea from ur paki friends n cousin. or search online for good parlours there. i knw manay guppans are here to help u :D i just have heard abt allenora at isb.

Congratulations Zimzimma! Did you get married at Tulip Hotel? If so, how was it? Also how was Tehmina? Did you try any other salons?

Thanks! It was 2 and half years ago. Yes I got married at tulip too, it was really nice, u have two options the actual hotel or the marquee. The marquee is really nice but more money. I went to a few salons. Splendour and a few others but I liked tehminas work so went with her. For shopping I went to Lahore liberty market.

my valima is in isl and barat in lahore... i have booked MUA for barat
but might book sobias for valima in Isl =/ do u hav any idea who is good...
my jethani got her makeup done from sobias recently, it seemed nice (in the pics)
Congrats Shakiba, lucky you to be getting married in the big cities. Two of my days are in Jhelum :( and I do not want to ruin my days with those make up artists in Jhelum. I have heard Nikhar is really good, so far I have heard mixed reviews about everyone. When are you going to Pakistan? I think you can get trial make up done to see how it would look on your wedding day or have an open end discussion with the make up artists. For Lahore I would definitely recommend Mevish from Madeeha's salon. That salon is gorgeous, modern-contemporary interiors, you would get the feeling of being in the spa. Check their website for details and charges and they arent that expensive specially if you are coming from England where you pay 100's of pounds :)

i have booked mariam khwaja for baraat.
maddeeha's i got my nikah makeup done from... didnt like the hairstyle =/ and it was little caked up... pictures turned out good but i wasnt totally staisfied so booked mariam for barat lets see how it turns out....
cant get trials =/ i am only ariving 5 days before my wedding would be too tight of a schedule

well my mother booked her over the fone from kaarchi. so i guess you can directly contact them. their number is on facebooks page too// i contacted them once for some info on fb and they were prompt in replying. so ya u can contact them and get all the infro u want BUT maryam works on the bride herself i doubt she has someone to send over to Jehlum but u can ask them… just give a call

I have no idea where i am getting my clothes from but i was planning to look in ISB / RWP for something any suggestions i am happy to look around before i decide.
