Jannat

Did u guys watch the first episode?

so what did u think?

i though the scenary was v.nice where the drama was shot, the sea etc where is that place in pakistan?

the picture and sound quality was good compared to other dramas, dont know if u noticed but in the drama chamak i can barely hear what they are saying so unclear,

jannat’s charcter was good, looks like she can act,

did u know jannat and her cousin in the drama are a real life couple? i found out when i watched bandhan talk show the other day,

ur views?

i didnt watch it :(

I’ve seen the first episode and it really seems nice
Looks like its gonna be another hit for ptv dramas :k:

I watched it and I loved it. Its like the threads on "selling women" in rural areas in Pakistan have come to life on tv.

The "sea" is not a sea. Its a lake. Keenjhar Lake in Sindh.

Yep, I think Nida Pasha, or Jannat, is a good actress. She's doing the character well.

"did u know jannat and her cousin in the drama are a real life couple? i found out when i watched bandhan talk show the other day, "

yeah. I too, didn't know that until I saw'em in Bandhan.

Drama's video quality is nice, on the same leval of Muqaam,
TKTG, Sawan, Landa Bazaar and Chamak.

BTW, I hear the characters just fine in Chamak... I find the audio quality
great.

Yeah, i agree, production quality in Chamak is not bad. Perhaps its a grade bit better in Jannat in some ways...after all, the two dramas are from two different production companies, so there will be some difference.

yup watched it,n thought it was sad…mmmmm, not sad sad(da one they use here) i mean sad(real meaning) its gettin confusin aint it ?:hehe:

I loved the first episode, Jannat is so pretty… she looks very pretty and simple. Its good to see some simplicity on tv instead of decorated butterflies.
but those two buddha men after her are so ugly and nasty looking. one of them havent eaten since days becasue he is in love :hehe: :hehe:
buddhi ghori lal lugam

yes i think the first episode was pretty cool. Unlike other dramas who spend the first two episodes introducing the charachters, this drama had some life in the Ist episode and is gonna turn out to be great:k:

I agree, the first episode wasn't "slow" and got straight into the plot, rather than show character outlines.

yeah, the story in 1st episode went very fast.

I thought Janat was literally JANAT.. She is really beautiful.
THE STORY HAS AN ACTUAL PLOT, IT EXAMINES A REAL PROBLEM IN RURAL PAKISTAN...
I hope they keep it serious and not turn it into some long winded hero wins the day type show.

OK i know i am extremely late (like a year at least), but i finally saw this drama last weekend… It was coming on tv. i LOOOOOOVE it.

Please, can any naik soul who has watched the entire series tell me - what happens at the end? Just a VERY brief summary of what the ending’s like. (Does Jannat marry Manhar, what happens to her son, what happens to that young married couple who eloped, and what happens to that badmaash guy who wanted to marry Jannat?). It’s hard to find this drama where i live, and i don’t know whether the Pakistani channel will show it this weekend or not (i might be gone this weekend anyways so i won’t be able to watch it). i think they are showing ‘Chaandni raateiN’ this weekend, not ‘Jannat’.

i’m really curious to know what happens to Jannat at the end, that’s all. :halo: Anyone watched this series and knows the ending? :o

"(Does Jannat marry Manhar, what happens to her son, what happens to that young married couple who eloped, and what happens to that badmaash guy who wanted to marry Jannat?). "

hmm it was aired last year so I'm a lil' foggy about the plot but this what I know for sure.

Jannat first marries, sain baba, Shafi Mohd. He gets killed and she seeks refuge in Karachi with Shafi's daughter and son. The young couple who marry each other finally their parents approve their marriage with the help of a go-between. So they live happily ever after. Then the badmash guy dies in a police encounter as he's the guy who killed Shafi Mohd and police was after him. Malhaar asks Jannet's hand in marriage who is now living with a faqir baba. But she refuses. Later she goes back to her villiage and her susral walas (Nauma Ijaz and co.) also accept her and her baby.

Gohan, Aap ka bahaut bahaut shukriya :flower1: Thank you so much for taking the time to write that all out; trust me - it is deeply appreciated. i got really hooked to the drama; they may not be showing it this weekend (i think they’re showing another one), and sometimes they won’t show the same drama for weeks. i just really wanted to know what happens at the ending.

:flower1: Thank you so much, so kind of you.

i watched the whole drama, and trust me it was waste of time :disgust:

Sorry, may i ask why?

i don’t believe i could get enough of these types of dramas… i think they portray today’s pressing social issues in Pakistan and do so in a balanced manner.

Not to mention it’s always extremely interesting, in some dramas, to see different parts of Pakistan.

But why? :(

it cracked me up when i saw jannat cry.
