Jannat

Hi there, can someone shed some light on this atatement reported to have made by the prophet.
“The Prophet was asked: ‘Do we have sex in Paradise?’ He answered: ‘Yes, by him who holds my soul in his hand, and it will be done dahman, dahman. And when it is finished she will return pure and virgin again.’” (Ibn Kathir’s commentary on S. 56:35-37)
Please don’t take me wrong, I don’t mean to offend anyone, afterall people did read and beleived whatever was written about the life of the Prophet.

An editorial footnote to Ibn Kathir’s translation indicates that the word dahman means intercourse done with such “shove and disturbance.” (Ibid.)

Re: Jannat

In Sahih Muslim, no. 6793 and 6794, we are told:

"In Paradise... every person would have two wives (so beautiful) that the marrow of their shanks would glimmer beneath the flesh and there would be none without a wife in Paradise."

Re: Re: Jannat

According to Ibn Kathir's commentary on S. 56:35-37, a Muslim will be given seventy specially created females with two of his earthly wives, for a total of seventy-two maidens in Paradise.

Re: Re: Re: Jannat

In Mishkat Al-Masabih, Muhammad indicates:

"The believer will be given such and such strength in Paradise for sexual intercourse. It was questioned: O prophet of Allah! Can he do that? He said: 'He will be given the strength of one hundred persons.'" (Bk. IV, chp. XLII, Hadith no. 24; transmitted by Tirmizi who classified this Hadith as sound)

and ur point is?

Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar.

I asked you for your views... You didn't read the first post did you?
Soooo did you get my point? I smell discrimination against women in those stament and want to know how eveybody else justify them.
Did you get my point now????

why is always so much emphasis put on viginity?? especially in heaven. One might reasonably assume that if a woman is found in jannat, it won't be a mistake by Allah that he sent her, so why does the question of virginity come into play? often in this world virginity is a sign of purity...it's taken as a proxy; but why also in heaven? Isn't in heaven the mere presence of that person enough proof of his/her purity?

Or does penetrating the hymen over and over again give some extra pleasure? Surely not to the woman i can imagine...

Sher we can't argue against wat has been said in the hadith and by allah himself, he knows best and the more we think wat, why, when et cetera the more ?'s will come in our minds, i sugest just accept wat u read and don't worry over it 2 much
