Imran Khan talked with Mubasshar Luqman on 28th October in Khara Sach and opined about having an inquiry about the news of Indian links/funding for Jang Group, particularly with reference to a story ran by Hindustan Times on an upcoming TV channel called Bol and a campaign by the Jang Group to preempt the launch of the channel by linking it with Dawood Ibrahim and the ISI.
The Jang Group, in response, has issued a legal notice to Imran Khan, asking the leader to get the second episode of the programme stopped from airing, which has already gone on air as of now.
Jang Group — the lead vocalist of freedom of speech — found the statement of Imran Khan too much to be tolerated. Being the self-appointed sacred cow of journalism and media, no one can cast aspersions on the integrity of the group as it stands beyond the purview of personal opinions.
I knew Imran Khan had it coming the moment he spoke on the issue. PTI, especially the KP government, should now be mentally ready for an unprecedented and unrelenting onslaught by the Jang Group which is already a pocket accessory of the Sharifs.
So, I guess any negative reports on IK and khattak bacha by geo / jang would now be conspiracy per nirralas after this event?
I have to agree with Nazir Naji. It is time to walk the talk as Imran and PTI is only good at criticism, which can be done by any dahee aloo sabzi wala, but we don't even know what has happened to fix the police after bannu and DI khan events and industrial units are still shut in KP.

Irrespective of political affiliation, leaning or bias, do you deserve to be slapped with a legal notice for saying that "if there is a serious allegation against anyone, it should be investigated"?
I am not a fan of ML but that earlier particular program on GEO seemed somewhat factual
But this IK interview with IK and notice is a huge mistake. GEO has brought this whole interview and earlier program into unnecessary focus. chor ki daarhi mayn tinka?

IK's response to the question after that exchange is interesting though. He says that anytime there is a negotiation between two people there should be some dignity and honour in the negotiation. Unfortunately he did not say anything against Mir Shakilur-Rehman, had he said any thing against him, I would have supported him. Or perhaps this video is censored because of threat given by GEO.
