Jane Austen is going to fly down to Delhi

I absolutely agree about B&P. It's too bad too because one of the reasons I love Austen is that many of the issues in her novels are still very real and present in desi society today. It feels very real and relavent to me -- perhaps more so than it does to the descendants of these people.

They really could have lifted the story and set it in India/Pak. Without all the ridiculous musical stuff. And without the East-West clash stuff. I think Mr. Coolie was the best character.
