i've always been wary of that since im unsure of its origin, but its very common in pakistan. im sorry im not a good candidate for telling that story but perhaps some other shia poster would oblige.
Re: Janab-e-Sayeda as Ki Kahani
Download this pdf file and read it open mindedly. I am sure you would learn a lot.

Brother ravage, that was the incident which changed my life. Yes I am not aware of the story salman is talking about which probably be happened in the life of Rasulallah (saww). Right??
But I think the life of Bibi Fatima (as) after Rasulallah (saww) deserves much more attention, when the munafiqeen showed their true faces and murdered the unborn grand son of Rasulallah (saww)
Edit: r*a*vage. my apologies brother!
well its a very famous story and we have heard it many times
little human..aap suna dain zara isko
aap bhi thora bohut contribute ker diya karay religion section main :D

I am so dumb ![]()
Anyway little is a observer here in this forum ![]()
I have heard the story in Pakistan just two times. But I need some time to recall it…or maybe I can ask my mom.
Btw the ladies manat maan and when their manat is puree they read Janaba Fatima kee kahanee. and it’s not just shias who do that.
I think she went to a lady’s wedding who was a jew and I don’t know why she fainted or something or died
and then Hazrat Fatima made a dua to Allah saying that they will blame her for her death or something and then miraculously the women woke up again or something.
It’s been 1 1/2 years since I have heard it.
Aaaahhhh
I think I better ask my mom or something.
Don’t want to type anything wrong.
Just wait
I’ll be back ![]()

i think i know this story women back at home used to believe in reading it more then they’d read quran & then they’d give some sweet thing to the ppl who came to listen:-\ right? or is that another1?
why do ppl read this?![]()
wo manat mantay hain(that if manat comes true they will paraa Janabe fatima kee khahanee) or jab manat puree ho jatee hait tou wo janabe fatima kee khahanee partay hain (gathering women together and sit together listen to it : one women would be reading loudly.)
And then they give out some sweets after they finished the story.
But I doubt it’s given more significance than Quran.
SalmanNY Glad i was able to be of some use ![]()
