LAHORE - Veteran TV actor Jamil Fakhri was hospitalised in Mayo Hospital after suffering a massive stroke on Tuesday. Fakhri was admitted to the ICU Ward and doctors say that he is in a critical condition. The actor is dependant upon the ventilator, until filing of this report. Once admitted, it was discovered that Fakhri also suffered a stroke a day before but his family for unknown reasons had not taken him to hospital. In all probability, the stroke was minor and may have passed unnoticed.
The second stroke has affected the right side of Fakhri’s brain, which means the left side of his body is affected. Exact reasons of the attack are unknown, but Jamil was known to be suffering from the discovery of the body of his missing son in the US. Fakhri had been pleading the Interior Ministry for his son’s recovery for a year. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif issued instructions to the Mayo Hospital Medical Superintendent to treat Fakhri on government expenditure.
May Allah bless him with quick recovery. His son will be found maybe, and the country will shower him with utmost tribute and whatnot, but late as always.
Renowned actor Jameel Fakhri passed away in Lahore, on Thursday night, Fakhri’s family member confirms. He was admitted into the Mayo Hospital on May 31, and has been on ventilator for a few days. He also suffered a stroke a week back. Jameel Fakhri’s son Nawaz Fakhri has confirmed that his father has been died.
