Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Aleezay Pm me with your email address and delivery will be on friday

Zabardast, you here that!

who is this Alton Brown what kind of stuff does he do?

have to google i suppose

I bet hes not as good as Jamie, Jamie can get kids to eat their greens

Beat that!!!!

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Jamie might be hit with the kids and girls cos of his looks & cos he jumps up and down but his programs that are shown on Food Network are like a clown show.

Alton Brown is funny but in an informative kinda way. The best thing about his shows is that you get to know a bit about the history of what he is cooking and also why he is cooking it the way he does. Why add an ingredient, which utensils to use and the alternatives and why to cook something at a certain temperature and how high and low will work to what side effects.

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Alton Brown sounds good...is he american?

The reason I offered to send people this book is because someone emailed me the whole cookery book and it has a few interesting recipes and ideas too(hence the index posted above), I like to modify recipes to my taste.

It wasnt because he is my favourite chef/cook

Ahmadjee, thanks for the info:)

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Yep, I think his shows are aired from Atlanta.

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Years ago I used to watch an american cookery show in which the cook was an oldish lady with short gray curly hair and she appeared to be drunk all the time

it made me seasick to watch her, she was very unsteady on her feet and couldnt talk coherently

i didnt know whether she was drunk or ill or just being her normal american self!

ive forgotten her name or the name of her show.

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

Are you talking about Julia Child? :-/

She died last year at the age of 91.

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

YES!!! thats her
was she ill or just a crazy lady

Thanks for the link Ahmadjee... I really appreciate it

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

The poor lady was tooo old!

Re: jamie Oliver cook book

oh well I take back all I said...except the being american part.:D
