jamawar ki patti

Heyy, I was wondering if anybody knows where to get jamawar or other silk material ki patties to attach to duppattay kay palloos or even the ghayra of the kameezes? I have seen this trend a lot now; it looks nice in contrasted colors. Sometimes the color is not even appearing in the shalwar and creates a whole new look.

I want to attach the jamawar patties on my clothes myself. I have not found it in any of the lace shops Ive searched in Lahore so far. Please let me know. Thanks!

Re: jamawar ki patti

You wont get it from lace shops at all. You have to buy fabric from shops that sell banarsi and pure fabric and get it dyed. For piping on a dupatta and a shirt,1.5-1.75 yards fabric is required.

Re: jamawar ki patti

what about the striped pattis?
Or the 1 with designs on them.

I dont think they have to be dyed. How would you get the stripped look then?
