First group which assaulted AH in KU was Jamiat. AH family itself was JI supporter or religious just like many other conservative families but AH turned against JI/Jamiat for JI's approval of bias in admissions to KU .

Clashes between Jamiat and other parties and these type of activities made Govt. to rightfully ban student politics altogether.

you can hate jamiat but there is not a single incident of clash In PU, FC college, and Islamia college. PPP's PSF have no influence at all. PMLN's MSF have no influnce in Lhr and little in punjab overall. That is the reason to ban to student politics 'rightfully'.

As far as I have read and heard people from Karachi, violence was introduced in Karachi by Jamaat e islami.
The same is the case with IJT, which carries out similar activities in colleges and universities where they hold control.

Yes. There was a time jamiat had strong hold in Karachi Educational institutes and when confronted and they saw opposition growing they became militant.

Jamaat e Islami as a party was involved in violence in Karachi, the same cannot be said for them in the rest of the country. They do come across as someone defending taleban though.
As far as IJT is concerned, it has been involved in heinous crimes in Lahore's institutes. There was a time when most of Lahore's institutes were under the influence of IJT. My brother used to study in Science College Wahdat Road, and the jamaatis there used to have torture centers where they'd put hot iron/cigarettes on the back of their opponents. There used to be virtual wars between MSF, PSF and IJT for control of colleges. One of the best things that Shahbaz Sharif did in his first stint as CM was to ban student politics. IJT still exists in PU though.

JI is the founder of Militant wings in Pakistan , Al-Badar and Al-Shams were their famous products , even MQM used their stuff in beginning .
