Look I am not denying that they have copied more songs recently then we did. But your argument falls flat IF you claim that ripping off is only trash-able when it gets mainstream exposure. Though I dont think ripped off songs have been popular recently because of increase in pakistani music audience in India.
Secondly, our pop scene has usually been original. The artists you mentioned are NOT related to Lollywood and thus that claim is irrelavant despite being very true.

Read that again. I’ve said the pop artistes have almost never done plagiarism. Whatever little happens, happens in lolywood – but they are far more original than crappywood anyway!

so i decided to look at the music review for this pathetically titled movie CHOCLATE, i wanted to see whether they would give credit to the Pakistani’s… read this people, you will be fuming…I AM!!
K.K. croons ‘Zehreeli Raatein’, a fast paced foot-tapping track that sounds more like a pop number rather than a Bollywood song. There is a hint of Biddu’s style of music coupled with Pakistani pop in this Praveen Bhardwaj written song that is one of the first ever for a Bollywood movie. A unique composition with great musical arrangements and lively rendition by K.K., one looks forward to watching this number onscreen, as it appears quite different from routine.
‘Bheega Bheega Sa Yeh December Hai’ - now have you ever heard something like this? Probably not! But this is what the team of ‘Chocolate’ brings to you in this Ajeet Srivastava number that has Sunidhi Chauhan delivering one of her best. A beautifully composed melodious number that maintains a subtle pace throughout, it is a classy number that sets across the point that the musical score of ‘Chocolate’ is not one of your run of the mill ones. Another sweet composition that won’t go unnoticed!

I was watching "fame gurukul" on sony...this contestant sang woh lamhe song and i think he sucked..but shankar mahadevan said he sung 10x better then the origional singer..that was pretty stupid

People I told you so! While the insane Pakistanis would jump up and down ranting "COPY!!! COPY!!!" even if the song is vaguely similar, these Indos will NEVER ever do that -- they are way too smart to do that. I can give a zillion more examples other than this instance of plagiarism when their critics have done this!
