hmmm…over all a good performance, the sound system sucked though…yoo much feedback trhrough out…the crowd how ever was even less then some of my graduate classes…the real star of the night was paroo though:bukbuk:

Why aren’t these concerts attracting enough crowds? Is it the lack of publicity or desi community?

yar the reason may be the they just have one album out yet and not a whole lot of people know abt them and also how the event is advertized i guess!!!

I went to their concert last night. They are coool! except for the fact that they are so quiet on stage especially farhan and shaazi. well i'll b posting pics soon.

The idea of having these solo artists with Jal didnt help at all. I feel bad for the organizers who invested so much money though. They should have paired Jal and Strings just to make sure they get decect crowds, as these organizers wont take such a risk next year after loosing money.

I would say the desi community. When strings came to tour there was like only 150 people who came to the concert. same for jal. But when abrar/haroon and jawad/faakhir came it was a house full.
Poeple dont go to a concert unless they will get to listne to some bhangra

i went to junoon's concert yesterday and again it was really disappointing !!!
first of all a small crowd showed up and the sound system was really messed up...this is the 2nd concert in VA which was complete bukwass.. Junoon sang the same set of songs that they always do ...they need to introduce some new stuff reall soon or i believe they are done !!

you are right …Jal is not a sort of band which will bring crowd to its feet etc …they have different kind of music …and people should understand that they cant do bhangra on every band…where as there performance is concerned, they are still relatively new and this was their first major international tour …they will grow more cofident with time !!!:elmo:
