So ive seen a few shows on tv dealing with prisons. They show maximum secuirty prisons, built in the middle of no where. What are they worth ? according to those shows, NOTHING. The amount of violence that goes on in prisons is crazy to say the least. Keeping gang leaders in there in an attempt to break up their system is futile, because they will get their orders out, one way or the other. Prisons in some ways act as schools for these people. They go in as trainee’s and come out as hardened criminals.
What is the point of these prisons if they actually make things worse, lol. I have come to the realisation that the way sharia law deal’s with criminals is the best way. Paying to train criminals dosent settle too well with me.
This is why the old British system was the best form of justice. If you committed a crime, you were deported to live the rest of your life in the American colonies.

where will you ship them and what about people that did something insignificant. Shipping people off to another place will not solve anything in these times.
not really, soon enough you will have an afghanistan like situation. Only this would be three times worse. Locales will get slaughtered, you will have different groups trying to take over the whole place. America will step in and soon enough it will be the 53rd state.

having jails is a good idea, there should be an effective administrative authority, surveillance of inmates on an individual and group basis, keeping a tab on their activities & communication within the jail &without; based on this and the crime commited, the level of interaction with other inmates & freedom within the jail that is to be allowed should be determined. this is an ideal case scenerio, easier said than done but ideal nevertheless, give or take a few pointers.
