Mohammed Ali Jafri announces departure from noori
Ali Noor, Ali Hamza and Gumby continue band work

In a well thought-out and amicable decision, Mohammed Ali Jafri has decided to leave noori in order to pursue other ventures. We, the rest of the band members, wish him the best of luck with his new endeavors. Though we will terribly miss him, we shall not stop from carrying on the dream of noori: a dream that he helped build and was such an integral part of!

^ why are bassists having problems these days? first brian o conell and now jaffery!! the leading guy behind their website and the one who spoke and represented noori well!
although the move was free of hostility there are news that he left because ali noor cut down his share of earning from 30% to 15%. He also wanted to spend more time with his family. Anyway, noori will continue to make good music, however i am unclear on what jafri will do now. He is talking about a change, what does that mean, is he gonna be involved with other aspects of entertainment world.

hez the only member whoz married so they mite be expecting a child or sumthin .. :p .. so I think he`ll spend more time with his family ..

I sometimes felt he was out of place in a band like noori because of his age. All the other noori band members are in their early to mid 20's and here is this guy that looks to be in his early to mid 30's

Dont believe everything ppl write on forums. Jafri's wife clarified that that she (nor her hubbie) know that guy who wrote that, and basically what he said was not true at all.
