one can also see word malaaikah on page 893 under root MLK=meem, lam and kaaf.
In urdu, firozullughaat jaame by molvi firoz uddin, pub 1983, it is stated that both words sehr and sahar are of artabic origin and as I stated above the arabic dictionary clearly states the root of both is one and the same and there are various meanings attached to this very same root.
