Jadoo?

Iv recently found out that someone has cursed or done black magic on my husband and I’m worried. Found out after doing istakhara for a city relocation and the signs seen indicated it has happened by somebody close. Probably through food… Since Iv been married my husband has had bad luck with jobs and money just slips away without realising and recently something big happened which had us nearly at breaking point :frowning: has anyone got experience in dealing with this? Any advice will be much appreciated.

Re: Jadoo?

I'd consult a raaqi (practitioner of ruqya) for it. You can google Al Istissal and see who they have in the UK. Others I know of there are Abu Ruqya and The Ruqya Services.

Re: Jadoo?

Recite surah falaq and surah nas as well plus you can listen ruqaya available at youtube

Re: Jadoo?

While you can find online ruqyas, I'd still advise you to consult a raaqi. Listening to ruqyas is similar to taking medicine--you need to follow some kind of prescription with it.

Re: Jadoo?

Honestly, other people might have better ideas with bigger torr but there are couple of books about duas. They have small prayers for after namaz, before travelling, in sickness and for protection. If you make it a part of your day to day life a lot of burden goes off ones shoulders and these qurani duas will keep protecting you.

I don't understand the second sentence at all ... As for the first sentence - you have found out ??? How did you find out?
Regarding jobs - what have you done to rule out "bad luck" with jobs being from logical causes - like ... not as good as the competition? Or not as committed? etc?

Magic should be the last cause and it will always be a result of ruling out other factors first ... If you jump to the conclusion of "magic" before looking inwardly at yourselves for the problems and solutions to your day to day issues then - that condition will continue ... Black Magic causes need to determined when all else is eliminated and when there is clear evidence.

My advice starts with clean clothes and staying in wudu and keeping house clean ... the rest comes later ... second comes prayer ...

Re: Jadoo?

'Jadu' is present and active in our society .
We see it working

Re: Jadoo?

Thank you everyone for your advice, I will look into all of these options. We were told by an Alim that somone has done jadoo because of the things we saw in Istakhara pointed towards that.
really appreciate the advice xxx

I would like to know who that 'alim is ... Because I believe he is only telling you what you want to hear ... If he knew that it was magic, then he should also tell you the location of where to find the ... Effigy ... If he can't then why believe him? What proof has he got and what benefit has his informing you done?

Salam Br. Psyah :flower1:,

Dreams can give an indication that the dreamer is afflicted by magic/nazar/jinn. There is a hadith where the Prophet SAWS mentioned seeing a dream about a woman dressed in black and I dont recall the details of the dream but it was interpreted to be the removal of an asaibi influence. In a video, the raqi Ben Halima mentions that people can get an idea of where the taweez/magic has been stored from their dreams. For instance, if the taweez was hung from a branch the dreamer often dreams of falling from a height and being at a height, etc etc.

The magic done on the Prophet SAWS was found in a well, perhaps a local well and my guess is that due to his SAWS’s status…it was easy to get someone to retrieve the magic from the well. However, it’s not easy for most people. Let’s sat that the magic …taweez etc…has been buried im a grave…perhaps on the other side of the world…how is the victim of the magic to retrieve and destroy it? It may not be possible and it can be hard to do so even if it’s in a local area. I have heard that the moakkils/jinns used by rakis can retrieve and destroy the magic but I’ve also heard mixed opinions about the legitimacy of the use of jinns. On one hand it’s said that it’s against shariat to use jinns even for a good cause but then I’ve also heard that it’s okay as long as the jinn is not being coerced and chooses to help of his own will.

It’s possible that OP had not considered magic as a possibility before hearing it from the Alim. Could be that the alim can only provide insight based on dreams and is limited in his knowledge about how to combat magic. Just my 2 cents. Still on break…please say salam to Hareem for me.

Re: Jadoo?

why do people jump to black magic right away? This is getting ridiculous. As long as you are praying 5 times a day and reading Quran, no need to worry. Figure out what the problem is and fix it.

Re: Jadoo?

Recite Surah Naas and Surah Falaq as much as you (and he) can BUT make sure you and your hubby are doing 5 times prayers.

Its VERY VERY RARE that someone actually get effected by jadoo or something. Most of the time these are just made-up stories from these people for their own good. Even if there was a jadoo, above mentioned thing should take care of it.

Re: Jadoo?

tbh, why would you torture and ruin your life with such abstract fears based on istiKhara? is istiKhara a fool-proof science? do you think you should have grudge against an unknown person who you think cast the so-called jaadoo? do you think Islam would like to create a society where people are wary N afraid of each other? what happens to brotherhood/sisterhood in Islam? do you want to go in circles from raaqii to raaqii who could easily be a fake one and could take advantage of you or your family?

think about it. don't be superstitious. there can be 100's of reasons and co-incidences that you had bad happenings around you.

my advice is to be rational in your thinking and do NOT be superstitious. fear Allah alone and ask for his forgiveness and protection by reciting ayat al Kursii, 4 quls and darood shareef. you don't have to be in thinking overdrive.

Re: Jadoo?

Recite manzil, it really helps. Its a collection of Quranic verses & a means of protection from jadoo, jinn, sihr, evil eye, thieves etc. Pray 5 times a day & recite Quran.

Re: Jadoo?

thanks to everyone for their input! so sorry for the late reply. tryin to sort life out since so many bad things keep happening :frowning: please pray for me.. may Allah be with us all…

Re: Jadoo?

my husband saw fire and burning of things in a dream a couple of weeks ago, and according to the Alim saab, that means the magic has been revoked. Or abolished. The alim is in Pakistan, and we r in UK.
Ive seen some weird things in the homes of some people, pages and pages of Quran verses repeatedly written in lines and columns. Random black clothes being found, and holes in clothes. I dont know what all that is about, the whole idea of it scares me (i saw and herd of these things in other peoples homes when iv visited pakistan in the past) I personally believe being faithful to Allah and being a good person overcomes black magic. Allah knows best.

Re: Jadoo?

I will advise people for learning things to be able to reason out things and then be able to see consistency or inconsistency in reasoning. If one does not have this ability to begin with then one is prone to all sorts of problems in life be they physical or mental or both.

Most people talk about supernatural knowing nothing about natural world this is why they talk about miracles, magic and such beings about which humanity has no idea at all.

People have been making fool of each other for a very long time now. Of course if one wants to remain a fool then that is up to oneself.

May be people should watch some videos which expose some dirty tricksters to see how they fool others.

As for the quran, there is nothing in the quran about things people keep claiming without any proof whatsoever. See my explanation of the quranic text in detail HERE and HERE. It is a must read for all regardless muslims or nonmuslims. If there existed such things as people claim our world will be a very different place due to supernatural interventions.

Fear is the drive that makes people believe in all sorts of nonsense unless people educate themselves to be rational and logical about things. We all seek peace and security but we cannot get it unless we educate ourselves about things and that way find out how to get comfortable with life. I have said more than enough already so people who have any sort of problems must turn to the proper study of the quran but they must have education to be able to make sense of the quranic text. There is no peace of mind in ignorance, illiteracy, lack of education and training and being an unskilled person.

Pakistan has been through a lot of nonsense in every way we can think of. Watch the movies made in pakistan and see how little people knew about deen of islam for last 60 plus years. All kinds of things have been done on basis of utter ignorance in pakistan and rest of muslim world. Books have been written by ignorant people, films have been made by ignorant people, dramas have been written ignorant people, so called hamd and naats ghave been written by ignorant people. It is because people have been exploiting fears and emotions of each other rather than trying to educate each other out of ignorance to become a nation of highly learned people.

So almost all references people bring forth are of no use because they are baseless and stand upon nothing at all. Almost everything produced is based upon confusion which shows very clearly the people who produced things were very confused themselves, so they cannot guide us therefore we must find our own way out of confusion if we can or die confused.

We do not have worthy educational institutions despite having the book like the quran with us. No wonder we are lagging behind all the nations of the world even those whom we call kufaar and misguided. The fact is we are most misguided nation on this earth and worse because we have the guidance. We act like donkeys carrying the books. No wonder we are a laughingstock in the word.

While others have excelled in many fields of knowledge, we are still living in primitive world of superstition full of magic, mystery and suspense. We are all acting like frightened children who are busy frightening each other out of our wits. Can anyone be more stupid than us? We have a book that has solutions for all our human problems but we just use it in a funny way that is why it does not work and so we become disappointed. We want to get the best without having to do the needed work for it. There is nothing free in this world ie without any labour. Not only that but the hard work we do must be done the right way so that we can get what we want. If we want plenty of fruit then we must also learn to plant the needed fruit trees or we will not get the fruit we so much desire just because we desire it or just by reciting some verses out of the quran because so we are guided by our misguided clergy.
