i mean this http://jadootv.com/
according to them it has hundreds and thousands of desi channels no antenna shentenna required just hook it up to your internet cable and thats it
Is it the answer to my prayers :crying:
to get rid of this vicious duo of ROGERS and BELL for desi channels
anyone has it?
any info to share…
Its a one time cost of around $250 to buy the box and the accessories.
Not sure how it would work with the internet though :hmmm:
dont you get charged by the GBs you use - in that case watching TV through internet would be like suicide
:bummer:
Re: jadoo
I heard some one talking about it a while ago, but I shrugged it being a desi ‘Manjee talk’
Wow! There web is pretty OK!
Go ahead James Bhaand buy it! Failure is not an option but still I’l buy it off you if it fails :cobra:
Re: jadoo
other than the low picture quality (VCDesque) and the occassional buffering, it works pretty well with a wired connection to the broadband modem.
in-laws been using it for about 8 months now and have no major complaints.
Re: jadoo
thanks for the info LC
I had a pretty rough telephonic conv. with Rogers the other day that resulted in me cancelling their phone and internet service. I switched over to Distributel. There are some occasional black out periods with this service, but overall its good value for money, no limit on bandwidth usage, and very affordable as compared to the ROYAL package that i had with Rogers.
I am going to try this jadoo thingy in couple of months
At the moment i am still with Rogers for my TV only and i have 6 free months of ATN and SET, this deal was a result of my last phone call with their customer service where i ignored the fact that "This phone call may be monitored for quality assurance and training purpose" and told them exactly what i thought of them and their crap service.
