How common has jadoo become now in Pakistan and are there various forms of jadoo to inflict harm onto someone or cause problems just out of petty jealousy?
I was just in Pakistan and there were all these stories of how the general graveyard in karachi has had so many problems lately - way worse than usual - of grave breakers and they use these items they find - bones and such to do black magic??
Seriously? The family was saying how their graves are not even safe anymore.

Ignorant masses have nothing better to do other than make up nonsense stories about things and then attribute then to islam in order to make them look authentic.
people have reasons to make others fools but the quran gives us criterion to sort out the truth from the falsehood. However one has to learn things and that is where we have problem with islam because we are not interested in learning quran as we are supposed to learn it. We just like believing in hearsay stuff.

the matter is thrown into confusion in South East Asia by the presence of widespread acknowledgement/appreciation of Sufis. they are used in what is generally accepted as good (permissable, recommended).
on the back of this good theres others who are prepared to offer for sale, or acknowledgement of their personal prowess, a more broad range of (dark) services. many people just want their problem fixed without concern for permissability, which is a very materialistic outcome of ignorance.
