Paper says pop star joined Louis Farrakhan’s flock last night

Last night, on the eve of child-molestation charges being filed against him, Michael Jackson converted to Islam, reports the New York Post.
According to the paper, the pop star became a member of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, and the conversion came with a shakeup in his personal staff.

The Post says Jermaine Jackson, one of Michael’s brothers became a Muslim in 1989 and has been trying to win favor with his eccentric sibling. Jermaine reportedly brought Leonard F. Muhammad, Farrakhan’s chief of staff into Michael’s inner circle as a “bodyguard.”
Jackson reportedly is a former Jehovah’s Witness and has had an interest in Judaism.
Tom Sneddon, Santa Barbara district attorney, plans to file formal charges against Jackson today as the child-molestation case against the entertainer progresses. Jackson was booked and released on bail Nov. 20 after allegation surfaced he molested a 12-year-old Los Angeles boy at his Neverland ranch.
The report says authorities have agreed to return Jackson’s passport to him so he can travel to the UK this weekend. His arraignment is expected to occur on Jan. 16.
Jackson, through his lawyer Mark Geragos, has denied any wrongdoing.
Malcolm X use to be one but then he converted to Islam and went on the Hajj where he ate, slept and prayed amongst blue eyed, blonde haired Caucasian brothers which helped him shed all his racist feelings towards them...

You can’t just let anyone who claims to be a Muslim call themselves Muslim, God has given us the Qur’aan and the Sunnah to judge who is and who is not…

Second point: What exactly do you want to discuss in this thread? He has not converted to "Islam" as far as I am aware so the title is misleading. Please express, in your original post in this thread, what exactly you want to discuss so that a proper discussion could be forthcoming.

saby dhulfiqar is right....In the worship places of "Nation of Islam"....there is no concept of doing a Jamaat for friday or any prayers".....I mean they don't believe in doing prayers through namaz/salah.
Moreover they have "Sunday sessions(No Prayers)" instead of Jumaa prayers.

"nation of islam" is a group of racists using the name of Islam....
they r not muslims....
and no, u cant allow everyone who claims to be a muslim to use this name....
there r many imposters who try to us Islam's name but r in fact nowhere close to being muslims (like the bahais' the ahmedis, the followers of rashad khalifa and noi too)....
Indeed the members of the American "Nation of Islam" are not considered valid muslims by Arab muslims.
But I'm not sure if this is not just simply another example of the traditional racism of muslim Arabs.

junk.........yes ALLAH knows best and ALLAH has told us in quran that what r the qualities who makes one non muslim.....and nation of islam qualifies as non mslim
