If some houses remain vacant (especially basements) for some time , then jinns may start living there.
Usually jinns start giving hints to people sometimes by dreams or showing themselves in extreme cases.muslim jinns usually just pray and feel happy if its a muslim human family living there too. but just like humans there are idiotic jinns also who wait for a chance for any human to unknowingly do something which may irritate them and then they start teasing in different ways.

I know someone who got a jinn into her. The jinn said to have caused her extreme pain in stomach. She was seeing snakes in her dreams too. A very aggressive person she was. The jinn was then said to have been taken out by dumm / durood. is it possible to take out jinn without communicating with the jinn ?
The woman above was diagnosed by one alim as been possessed by jinn and by other as a victim of jadoo and not jinn.
Can there be two diagnosis in this too ?

Jin normally does not like to live in very busy part of he house, they tends to live in vacant houses dark and less used part of house.
Whether need to chase even harm less Jin from house there are different opinions.
Some including myself believe that as long as they are living peacefully should not be disturbed.
But some believe that they are not suppose to share the place with human being and we must chase them away.

Yes..
Actually if someone is effected by Jin then just doing reciting manzil and blowing on water would be good enough to chase him out.
But in this case one need to do it regularly, (as he can come back again) there is no need to communicate with jin at all. The only reason one want to communicate is hope that Jin could leave the person for good. But there is no grantee if Jin would keep all the promise.
There are some Amil they just kills the Jin, but this should be avoided as could create problem with there family.

Its ok to communicate with a jinn and ask him to leave. some are stubborn so they dont leave, some are scared that if they leave, the one who sent them will kill them while some try and show off their powers to scare the roohani person treating the victim and dont leave without being burnt.
