It’s very state specific. In Texas, the high tier PPO plans do offer partial coverage for IVF. I was very, very lucky…with my first born we conceived him out first round of IVF and were only out of pocket about $5000, plus my RE had a sharing network for unused meds for the stimulation injections. This is was back in the mid 2000’s ,…second round when we conceived the twins, insurance was not as benevolent and we paid closer to $10K…not sure what the deal is now with the Affordable Care Act.
