Ive just bought this phone. Does anyone else have this phone?

I'm a little disappointed with the build quality tbh. The screen, when fully open, does not sit at the same angle as the rest of the phone, which i think cheapens the overall look.
Also, slow in responding to finger movement when browsing (it's a plastic screen might i add, unlike the glass iphone screen).
The 3G connection is pretty good, but it's hard to then navigate the pages, as you have to scroll around using the trackball.
Overall, i was pretty disappointed. That's why i got the hubby to buy me the iPhone, and he bought the G1.... i'll stick to the iPhone thanks :)

im yet to recieve my G1 today. But for me the hardware is not as imp as the software. Im a sucker for free software. Plus i dont like apples "ME" approach.
Plus im looking forward to the next android release aka cupcake.
But i agree with you that its not nearly as nice as the Iphone! :)

Okay as Stone said that lets not compare it with Iphone .. if we ignore Iphone and corporate connectivity/Outlook sync is not your major concern, I think that G1 is one of the best phones outside ..
Just the fact that it has tons of free applications that you can download right off the phone is one amazing feature. Browsing is fast and yes you cannot see the whole page but its next best thing than having a laptop. You can though scroll the page through touch screen, no need to use scroll ball.
Iphone is great but when it comes to 3rd party applications, no one can beat G1

I love my G1. It's smooth, easy and straightforward. No issues whatsoever.

Iphone owns g1 any time.
tip It's not the hardware but the software that is amazing. Android is about 75 miles behind.

Ok been using the G1 for a few weeks now. And i have to say im loving the phone. TBH i didnt feel that with the Iphone.
I love the physcial keyboard too even though my main gripe with it in the first place was the keyboard!
I love the fact it syncs all my gmail, calender, contacts and i dont have to do a damn thing!
And to all those who say Iphone software is better...you right...it is....for now! I dont like paying for applications. In fact ive never bought an application so the G1 serves me well.
