Re: I've issues with Ramzaan banner
While I do have some comments regarding the picture, but, let me take this moment to educate Roman. My dear Romeo, it is nice that you see Ramzaan only as social occasion, however, do keep in mind that for the majority of the Muslims it is a religious/spiritual month and will remain so till the end of time. Your thinly veiled refrences to progressiveness are nothing but little stones which as usual do not amount to much. Muslims will never let Ramazzan become Christmas. Furthermore, it is a month in which Muslims are ordained to practise their faith and show solidarity. The Eid that follows is called Eid-ul-Fitar for a reason, you may need help getting that translated (since you are little short on arabic/farsi/urdu vocabulary). This month is the month where Muslims should learn about "giving/charity" and practise it throughout the year. So you see chanda, lets leave these religious matters as they are, because reforming Muslims does not equate to changing the very essence of Islam.
Have a blessed day & May Allah guide us all to the right path.
Ameen
