Even their new programming schedule which started from May didn’t encourage me to continue subscription with them
Now it’s just GEO.

I have started watching Geo, the programmes seem good. When is it free till?
One of the dramas called Sarparast is good. What other good programmes are there? I normally dont switch the channel over from Zee to check it out much.

I cancelled all my desi channels a couple of months ago and I dont really miss them. I only miss the music shows and a handful of programs but overall it was getting rather annoying. When I had ARY, Geo and PTV, I hardly watched PTV. I am probably going to get one channel now, but not sure if its going to be GEO or ARY.

I am back in business. Subscribed to GEO and ARY Digital. Some of the programs on GEO are pure entertainment. They are actually serious in nature but the way Pakistanis present their viewpoint is simple pleasures... Did anyone catch the program on kaalabagh dam where a sindhi and a punjabi were guests. the punjabi guy making faces when the sindhi was talking was priceless. I laughed really hard. And I was all alone.

u did the right thing cool. ptv prime is going no where. recently sami sani took over the reigns he is trying to bring about changes. at the mo, geo r really giving ary a run for their money.

I spoke to a lady with a scottish accent, she asked me why and i told her that there is no one in the house who watches PTV Prime anymore, she then asked:
‘Did you know that we have started a bunch of new programmes?’ i just said yes to cut the story short.

I don’t think Sami Sani’s changes are getting them anywhere, The quality of the dramas is still very poor compared to GEO, and don’t even get me started on the saturday night movies!
Sami Sani is history (old-fashioned), i dont know why they got him to take control

Dramas are ok, good live shows started and also Saturday night films, well this Saturday night they will be showing a telefilm,.
Also why do you think that Sami Sani is old fashioned

I don’t think he gives PTV Prime a young feel, he’s dramas tend to be dull and boring. BTW This is my opinion…

only had PTV while my aunt was visiting as she would watch all the soaps no matter good or pathetic as long as it was desi urdu speaking tv. Got rid of it after she left. Right now we have geo and ary but we hardly watch either channel. Last year I got rid of both channels although accidentally and didn't miss them one bit :)

when the serious programs make you laugh and the comedies make you cry or be horrified, something is not right either with you or the programming, I am betting that most of whats wrong is with the Tv programs

Geo and ARY are good channels.. Althouth they could be even better. Ptv is getting lamer by the day. Old fashioned and desperately in need of a major make over

Can someone highlight the top 5 programs of GEO.. I have ARY... thinking of getting GEO as well... Any good comedy show on GEO ( on weekends n nights ) ?
