Before I can give you my two cents, just a couple of questions… I don’t have much knowledge of your specific industry, so some of these may not really apply.

  • What type of consulting are you planning on ? External ? Internal ?
  • What type of engagement model ? Independent Contractor ? Freelance Consultant ?
  • What type of primary clientele will you have ? Blue-chips ? Startups ?
    *] What type of practice will you be establishing? Generalist ? Niche?
    Hehe… am I coming up with a multi-level taxonomy of consulting/contracting or what :hehe:

Basically I will be a independent contractor for blue chip companies and it will be generalist not Niche.
