Since it recently happened to me, I’d also like to add, please do some research on side effects of various contraceptive devices. I was on the Nuva Ring for almost a year, and though I loved the convenience, the side-effects were a disaster. I didn’t gain weight, but there are other issues that don’t hit you at first, because they sort of creep up on you. So please look into that as well.
