What is a CPEC road?
Kartapur is a tourism initiative and to get sikh allies next to Pakistani border. No land has been “gifted” to India as they actually lamented the fact that they couldn’t get that land.

Sikh allies? really? last time i checked i came to know Indian sikhs still bash Pakistan on social media. Plz come out of this “sikh allies” bubble as soon as possible and try to read the opinions of sikhs on different social media platforms.

Sikh CM of punjab has already come out against the kashmir annexation so consider it a “win” for that thinking in the army. Imran wants peace for economic growth but no way in hell could he have had implemented this plan without army’s approval.
Paaji…CM punjab is from congress and congress is officially opposing the scraping of article 370. So nah…pubjab CM’s opposition to this move has nothing to do with kartarpur plan. In fact he passed many aggressive statements against Pakistan in feb this year when tensions were high ( and when development work was underway in kartarpur)
Nah leave the kartarpur corridor. What we really need to implement is the no-fly zone for planes to and from India like we did after Feb 27 misadventure. That will put a dent on their economy.

How will that dent their economy? There are 100s more flights to India that cross through Pak airspace, which is a revenue stream for Pak CAA in the form of overflight fees that all foreign airlines have to pay every time they use Pak airspace. Banning the airspace will only result in revenue losses for Pakistan, it’s not like airlines will cease their operations to India just because of Pak airspace closures, they will simply use alternate routes. Banning airspace should only be reserved for extreme situations.

Look, no one has given any land to india for Kartarpur crossing. While am not in favour of normalizing relations with rundians until they stop supporting terrorist activities in Pakistan, but this Kartarpur can be used as recruiting grounds to honey trap few visiting Sikhs and then use them to re-ignite Khalistan movement in india, give these fkrs the taste of their own medicines once again. But it would require some spine & courage from both our civil & military leadership, I see it hard to come by.
