Yes the UK is world famous for the rain:) it rains a lot particularly during Wimbledon. But the water companies have been complaining about lack of rain and in some areas in southern england there are bans on the use of hosepipes.
I even heard ads on the radio that london has had less rain than Rome and Dallas.:) and in the ads people from those cities are coming to London to avoid the rain:)

Hey u should be used to it living in London-come on its sunny for 2 days in the summer then it pours with rain. It always rains here be it summer or winter.

Errytime we in Manchester airport on the way to Pak, it looks all rainy and blah
