Yeah why do we have Ramadan and Eid on different days? It’s stupid, can’t we be united on one thing at least.

In our town all the Muslim’s are either Deobandi or Barelvi (except me who decided to experiment a bit and became a full fledge Wahhaabi and I quite like it).

Anyways the Barelvi Masjid has Eid on one day and the Deobandi on a different day. It’s so stupid. I use to celebrate it with whoever had it first and go to the Mosque on both days but now I’m going to do it properly since I’ve become religious, on the same day as the Arab community in the neighbouring town.

Ya it s much pleasenter if we celebrate
Ramzaan and Eid the same day.
Here in Holland is Monday Roza.

Mr.Dhulfiqar, for your kind information, days for Ramadan and Eid depend on the lunar cycle i.e. lunar sighting of the moon. It depends on your location. If the moon has been sighted in your area, then the next day will be the first day of Ramadan. We are obliged to follow the lunar cycle by Allah's Apostle and therefore, we cannot just make up up our own unified day for Eid or to start fasting for Ramadan.

No offense to any sect but it doesn't matter which sect you belong to as it all depends on lunar cycle.

My community is starting on monday

My family will start Monday Insha'Allah. The community here starts on different days usually.

we should start Ramadan according to new moon.
