It's no ordinary document

the marital contract.

it is a pledge between the husband and the wife.

people who are unfair on a contract’s terms, when it is written, are inhuman and ignorant.

if you can share, clauses from the marital contract, that will be great.

so that young Muslim-Pakistanis know that when they get married, what the contract ought to be.

the sanctity of this document cant be ignored.

if a marriage has to be based on God fearingness and honesty, then the marital contract must be fair.

thoughts?

Re: It's no ordinary document

Yes Dush, it sure is not an ordinary contract. When you marry you say you are marrying according to the Book of Allah and the way of the Prophet (saw) - you will not trangress boundaries set by God. So yeah - we all should remind ourselves of the importance of this bond.
