I believe in giving money to the poor people. Few people in family are in need we try to help them out every way possible. But to give presents and taking their nakhras after wards... i simply say if you have good $3000+ saved up ... Edhi foundation and Earthquake victims plus many others can use that money for better use.
I am not saying we should not exchange presents but i have seen from my past experience- i had to deal with nakhra... and i simply have no paitence for it...
i agree, you give them prezzies and they complain, you dont and they complain....theres no pleasing them.
